Perhaps that explains the team-high eight passes Cotchery dropped during the season, uncharacteristic for him.

Cotchery, 28, told ESPN.comthat doctors "shaved off" the piece of the disc that was pressing against a nerve. He told the website that the condition was at its worst in October."
