Cornerback Adrian Baker, a senior graduate transfer from Clemson, is no longer with the Oklahoma State football team.

On Monday, coach Mike Gundy described the decision as a mutual parting of ways.

Baker has played sparingly this season after battling an injury issue in August. But he had become the team's third-best cornerback, rotating in to rest starters A.J. Green and Rodarius Williams.

Baker had missed his junior season with a torn ACL, which Gundy suspected might have had some lingering effects.

“When he got in here, he was a little slow. He never really got going,” Gundy said. “We had a meeting. He's got some family responsibilities back in Florida. I think he just felt like his time playing football was over.
