"It's a toss-up whether Bruins No. 1 center David Krejci will return to action at the Garden tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs or wait until Saturday's visit by Joe Thornton and the San Jose Sharks.
Krejci has missed the last three games with a so-called "core" injury — suspected to be a possible groin strain — suffered on an innocuous-looking play in practice last Tuesday. He joined the team for a full practice yesterday at the Garden.
"I feel pretty good on the ice," Krejci said. "I would love to be back for the game (tonight), but on the other hand I have to be smart about it. I would say it is 50-50. We'll see how it goes. I have to (come) back when I feel 100 percent, not when I want to play."
