Comeau, 25, was the Islanders' second-round pick (47th overall) in the 2004 draft, and has spent the past three seasons with the club. Last season, the Meadow Lake, Saskatchwan, native had career highs in goals (24), assists (22) and points (46), while finishing fourth on the team in goals and fifth in points."
