"Nothing has changed regarding the status of quarterback Peyton Manning, but it's possible the Indianapolis Colts could rearrange the pecking order behind him.

Veteran Kerry Collins exited Sunday night's loss to Pittsburgh at Lucas Oil Stadium in the fourth quarter with concussion-like symptoms, yielding control of the offense to Curtis Painter.

Collins still is being evaluated today, leaving open the possibility Painter would make his first career start next Monday night at Tampa Bay.

"If that happens, I'll be ready,'' Painter said."
