"The Indianapolis Colts placed veteran quarterback Kerry Collins on the injured reserve list today, ending his season.

Collins was signed as a replacement for Peyton Manning and started the first three games of the season. He suffered a concussion against Pittsburgh and had not played since.

Also today, the Colts signed guard Jamey Richard and tackle Michael Toudouze to the active roster, put fullback Chris Gronkowski on injured reserve, signed running back Darren Evans to the practice squad and waived receiver David Gilreath from the practice squad."
