"Redskins running back Clinton Portis said Tuesday he doesn't believe he'll be able to play against the Green Bay Packers this week because of a groin injury suffered in the Eagles game.

Portis said the injury is "bothering me and it's stiff." On his weekly radio appearance on 106.7 The Fan, he said he is awaiting the results of an MRI exam taken yesterday.

In his Monday meeting with the media, coach Mike Shanahan said little about Portis's injury, but in an interview later that day with Comcast SportsNet, he expressed his worries."
