Clemson will be without four players, including two returning starters, for the 2014 season opener at Georgia as a result of team rules violations.

Dabo Swinney announced Tuesday that defensive end Corey Crawford, offensive lineman David Beasley, defensive back Garry Peters and offensive lineman Shaq Anthony will miss the first game of 2014.

"I am disappointed to announce that these young men will miss the 2014 opener at Georgia," Swinney said in a statement. "A huge part of our program is teaching accountability, responsibility and that there are consequences for your actions. These are four good young men, but they broke a team rule and as a result, they will each miss a game.
