Michigan State's Class of 2016 is off to a hot start with the addition of four-star receiver Cameron Chambers from Timber Creek High School in Erial, N.J.

Chambers, 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, picked the Spartans over Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Florida, Iowa, Maryland and South Carolina, among others.

Chambers, who announced his commitment on Twitter on Friday, has said he plans to be an early enrollee following the 2015 football season.

Chambers is a consensus Top 100 player in the Class of 2016, ranked No. 43 overall by Scout.com, No. 48 by Rivals.com and No. 93 by 247sports.com.
