Angels left-hander C.J. Wilson declined the Rangers' invitation to receive his American League championship ring on the field in a pre-game ceremony.

"That would really go over great," Wilson said sarcastically after being booed in both starts during the weekend series.

General manager Jon Daniels and manager Ron Washington presented Wilson with the ring in the Angels' clubhouse before the game. Wilson tied for the Rangers' lead in wins last season with 16 and moved to the Angels as a free agent in the off-season.
