For all those who were hoping -- nay expecting -- C.J. Spiller to rip away once and for all the featured Bills running back spot from Fred Jackson the 2013 season has been a disappointment.

Spiller has more carries than Jackson so far this (66 to 48) but Jackson has more rushing yards (256 to 230) and Spiller's yards per carry average is a subpar 3.5. As surprisingly well as rookie quarterback EJ Manuel has performed Spiller hasn't proved that he's the most important player on the Buffalo offense. Unlike last season when he gained 1244 rushing yards with the injured Jackson missing six games.

More bad news then for Spiller on Wednesday: after heavily limping around the locker room after practice earlier this week -- the effects of an ankle injury that occurred in Week 4 -- Spiller is questionable to play Thursday vs. the Browns.
