Just one night after James Harden of the Houston Rockets made NBA history as the first player ever with a 60-point triple-double, Portland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum also made history on Wednesday night.

In just 29 minutes of action, McCollum became just the second player in the shot clock era to score at least 50 points in less than 30 minutes of action during the Blazers’ 124-108 thumping of the Chicago Bulls at Moda Center.

The NBA’s official Twitter account praised McCollum for such a rare feat, as the star guard had a career-high 50 points.
