Chris Young dominates

"The Mets were shut out by the Florida Marlins, 5-0, in Jupiter on Sunday afternoon, but the shutout the team was more concerned about was the six innings tossed by Chris Young.

In five Grapefruit League starts, Young has a 1.33 ERA. While the team's main concern was the health of Young and his fellow rehab project, Chris Capuano, their results have thrilled coaches.

"This was consistent with what I've seen out of Chris this spring," Mets manager Terry Collins said. "He's throwing the ball the way we want him to. Command of his stuff is getting better and better. I don't think he's had a bad outing all spring. I think he's going to be a very, very good pitcher.''

And in Ollie news

The decision on Oliver Perez won't come until today at the earliest. Collins and Mets GM Sandy Alderson spoke on the phone about it, but will meet this morning with pitching coach Dan Warthen - and likely Perez for part of the meeting."
