"It wasn't long ago when Titans running back Chris Johnson was aiming for 2,000-yard seasons.

After 11 games this season, however, that goal is way out of reach. He has 699 yards, and is on pace for 1,016.

While it would be nice to reach 1,000 — considering his slow start — Johnson said it's not his primary focus.

"It is an important number, but it is really more important for me to get to the playoffs and things like that," he said Wednesday. "We haven't been to the playoffs in a few years so that is what we are focusing on."
