We're entering Year 3 of the Miami Heat's great experiment in NBA team-building, and certainly the results thus far have been impressive — they have made two Finals appearances, earning a championship in the second, and with the additions of Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, they've brought in some floor-spacing firepower on the perimeter.



This is good news for LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and friends.

Of course, since the inception of the Big Three, the one issue Miami knew would linger is the lack of a substantive center.
