"Chipper Jones plays his second rehab game on Sunday for the Rome Braves as he returns from right knee surgery. Jones was eligible to come off the disabled list Sunday. He hoped to be ready Monday (vs. the Pirates). We should have a better idea if he will be ready to be back in the Atlanta lineup after today's game. Jones is batting third and playing third base. Rome is playing Kannapolis, the Chicago White Sox affiliate.

Jones came out very early today and fielded more than 75 ground balls in preparation for the game."
