The Philadelphia Eagles plan to run a high-octane offense with coach Chip Kelly arriving and adapting his playbook to the NFL.

Kelly expressed confidence that NFL referees won't slow down his offense.

"It isn't an issue with us whatsoever" Kelly said.. "We understand the rules and we'll play by them. It's a real simple concept to me. If the speed limit is 65 [mph] even though I want to go 85 if there's a cop out there I'm not going 85. It's a real simple concept. We're not going to change them. I like them. We're excited to play with them."

Unless NFL teams are in a two-minute drill referees won't rush the football to the line of scrimmage.

At Oregon Kelly's teams averaged 44.7 points per game and won 46 of 53 games infour seasons.
