After eight seasons in Atlanta, veteran defensive end Kroy Biermann became a free agent this offseason and hasn’t found any takers yet, but he’s drawing some interest in Detroit.

Biermann is visiting the Lions today, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The 30-year-old Biermann played in all 16 games for the Falcons last season, but he was a backup and part-time player, getting on the field for just 49 percent of the team’s defensive snaps. He finished the year with 2.5 sacks.
