It didn't get much notice when it happened, but with all the controversy surrounding the Pistons on Friday, it bears repeating.

After the Pistons' 102-101 last-second loss to the Pacers on Wednesday night, forward Charlie Villanueva retweeted a follower's tweet critical of coach John Kuester.

One of Villanueva's Twitter followers wrote to him: "I ride or die for the Stones. But Q doesn't put u guys in the best position to win. Sad too. Talent is there."

Villanueva retweeted the message to his more than 137,000 followers.

The message was later deleted.

Villanueva was scoreless in 4:28 and benched after the Pacers grabbed five consecutive offensive rebounds during one possession.

Villanueva was one of six Pistons to participate in the entire shoot-around before Friday night's 110-94 loss against the 76ers -- and he got the start. He played 36 minutes and scored 17 points with five rebounds.
