"Charges could come Tuesday against Minnesota Viking defensive back Chris Cook, who has been jailed since early Saturday in an alleged domestic assault at his home in Eden Prairie.

Cook, 24, remains in the Hennepin County jail as the county attorney's office reviews results of the police investigation it received Monday. Unless an extension is granted, authorities have until noon Tuesday to charge him.

Cook was arrested at 2:10 a.m. Saturday at his home in the 6400 block of Regency Lane in Eden Prairie after a neighbor reported yelling and screaming from across the street, according to police."
