The third degree assault and battery charges levied against South Carolina point guard Rakym Felder have been dismissed.
Felder, a 5-foot-10 point guard from Brooklyn, New York, averaged just under 15 minutes per game for the Gamecocks as a freshman last season.
He was arrested on July 13 after allegedly spitting on a woman, which caused a brawl outside of a Columbia bar. Following the arrest, he was suspended indefinitely by the basketball program, and not allowed to take classes in the fall.
