"The Chargers will sign a kicker on Monday or Tuesday, as a team source said "it doesn't look good" for Nate Kaeding to be playing any time soon after initial tests indicated the placekicker has a torn ACL in his left knee.

Sources said Sunday night that further tests are needed to determine whether Kaeding will be out the entire season and need to go on injured reserve."
