With Pat Beverley and Jeremy Lin out on Saturday, Chandler Parsons and Francisco Garcia took on point guard duties in the four second-half minutes Aaron Brooks sat out. The experience gave Parsons new respect for the job point guards have to do setting up the offense.

“That is tiring bringing that ball up with a 5-7 guy on you,” Parsons said. “When I had post-up plays, Francisco brought it up. Other than that, I brought it up against Will Bynum. That’s exhausting, man. I hadn’t done that in a while. That was fun.”
