Upon hearing yesterday that teammate Nate Robinson signed a two-year deal with the Celtics worth just over $4 million per year, an excited Glen Davis posted the following tweet under the Twitter name iambigbaby11. (Davis has gone under several Twitter ID's over the years.)

"I'm so happy that Nate coming back!!! Donkey a shrek!!! Ayo baby!!! Y'all show Nate some love!! Man I love that little guy!!"

Marquis Daniels, not likely to be a Celtic next season unless the free agent market for minimum contract players turns particularly barren, tweeted his own greetings:

"Congrats to my lil bruh @nate-robinson on his new deal."

Welcome to the ongoing mode of viral NBA communication. Robinson's own tweet was relatively straight forward.

"I'm going back to the celtics all I wanna knw is who's come n with me? LoL half backed voice."

The bottom line is that the Celtics, after a relatively smooth negotiation, don't have to worry about a backup point guard for the next two years."
