If Mark Cuban and the Mavericks were thinking they could re-sign Caron Butler on the cheap after his injury-riddled 2010-11 season, they might want to think again.

According to a tweet by CBSSports.com's Ken Berger , the Nets , Clippers Bulls, Heat, Spurs and Knicks have all expressed interest in Butler in the early stages of free agency, meaning the Mavs will have plenty of competition for the veteran wingman's services should they want to retain him.
