Carlos Boozer in doubt, but Bulls feel ready to take on Hawks

"Carlos Boozer is day-to-day, but Derrick Rose is ready to go and Joakim Noah is close to his usual 110 percent. All in all, not the worst of scenarios for the Bulls two days before facing the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference semifinals Monday at the United Center.

With Rose assumed to be healthy after he scored 25 points on 8-for-17 shooting with six assists in the clinching victory over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday, the injury focus turned to Boozer, who suffered a turf-toe injury in Game 5 against the Pacers.

Boozer's status for Game 1 against the Hawks is in doubt. He was only able to watch practice at the Berto Center on Friday after doing some weightlifting and getting treatment on his injured toe.

''He's day-to-day,'' Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said after practice. ''It's hard to say [if Boozer will play Monday night]. But I'm thinking he will be able to.''

Thibodeau said trainer Fred Tedeschi ''has done the MRI and all that stuff'' on Boozer.

''He's getting quite a bit of treatment,'' Thibodeau said. ''He's getting rest. Doing some lifting. The big thing is he feels a lot better today than he did yesterday.''"
