Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the Spanish giants are in talks with Tottenham to sign Gareth Bale.
Real are pushing to bring Bale to the Bernabeu this summer with an £85million bid lodged to Spurs.

Such an offer would break the world transfer record - set at at the £80m Real paid to Manchester United for Cristiano Ronaldo in 2009.

And ahead of a pre-season friendly against LA Galaxy Ancelotti admitted the La Liga club were close to Bale but would not be including midfielder Luka Modric in any deal.

"The club is talking right now to find a solution to the case of Bale but there is no news in this regard" he said.
