"Coach Bruce Boudreau said after the Capitals' 4-1 preseason loss to the Nashville Predators that Michal Neuvirth's injury is nothing to worry about.
"He's fine. He's just got, again, a tightness thing and we're not going to take any chances with him," Boudreau said. "He was scheduled to play Friday, we'll probably rest him and play him Sunday. That's why we're bringing Braden up."
Update: Washington has confirmed that Braden Holtby will practice with the team on Thursday. He is being recalled because Michal Neuvirth is "nursing a minor injury and for precautionary reasons will be given a day off", according to a team spokesman."
