"The Capitals recalled defenseman Dmitry Orlov from the AHL's Hershey Bears this morning, perhaps in search of a spark on the blue line after last night's 7-1 thrashing in Toronto.

The 20-year-old Russian prospect impressed the Capitals in rookie camp and got to stay on longer for training camp so coaches could get a better look at him. He's recorded nine points (four goals, five assists) in 15 games with Hershey and is tied for the team lead among defensemen in points."
