Chris Tanev will also be on the ice at Rogers Arena, but he'll be practising with Salo's teammates, the Canucks having recalled the young defenceman on Wednesday.

The call-up, with two games to go before the all-star break, likely means Salo won't return to action until the season resumes after the break, which for the Canucks means Jan. 31 against Chicago at Rogers Arena.
