The only goal that beat him was not a pretty one, but Luongo's solid play was one of several positives the Vancouver Canucks could take out of Sunday night's convincing 5-1 win over the Calgary Flames at Rogers Arena.

Making his first start in three weeks, Luongo held the Canucks in the game early and then sat back and pretty much watched most of the second and third periods as Vancouver skated to its sixth win in its last seven games.

The previous five had come with Cory Schneider in goal and Luongo was under considerable pressure to perform well. He certainly did that early in the game as he made a number of clutch saves, including one on an Olli Jokinen breakaway."
