Robinson Cano is considered day to day with a left hand bruise and luckily for the injury-plagued Yankees his X-Rays were negative.

Cano came out of Tuesday night’s game after he was hit in the left hand by a pitch thrown by the Blue Jays' J.A. Happ in the first inning at Rogers Centre. Cano was checked by an athletic trainer and Joe Girardi and went to first but he was replaced at second base by Eduardo Nunez before the bottom of the inning.

The Yanks have struggled with injuries all season losing Derek Jeter Alex Rodriguez Curtis Granderson Mark Teixeira Francisco Cervelli Travis Hafner and Kevin Youkilis for extended periods this year.
