Getting hit by a Matt Harvey fastball clocked at 96 mph in the first inning of Tuesday night’s All-Star Game didn’t stop Robinson Cano from traveling home to the Dominican Republic.

“He is in the Dominican and [is] day-to-day,’’ general manager Brian Cashman said of his best player, who left the AL’s 3-0 win with a bruised right quadriceps.

Cashman chatted with Cano after X-rays Tuesday night were negative.

“After the X-ray the Mets team doctor called and put Robbie on,’’ Cashman said.

Cashman wasn’t ready to rule Derek Jeter in or out for tomorrow night’s game against the Red Sox at Fenway Park.
