He’s still got two seasons of high school football ahead of him, but already, one of the nation’s top 2016 quarterback prospects has said he plans to play for the Hurricanes.

Palmetto High quarterback Jack Allison announced on his Twitter account Monday night that he had verbally committed to Miami. Palmetto High coach Dave Marino also tweeted news of Allison’s commitment on Monday night.

“I am committing to the University of Miami. #GoCanes #TheU #Miami,” Allison tweeted.

The 6-foot-5, 205-pound quarterback is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports. He also received offers from Alabama, Missouri, Tennessee and USF, among other schools.
