The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward Nicolas Deslauriers to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Monday.

The 26-year-old winger has put up 10 points in 36 games this year.

He was slated to become an unrestricted free agent in the off-season.

The native of LaSalle, Que., was a third-round pick of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2009 NHL draft.
