There's no question the Canucks are in a bit of a funk right now (5-5-0 in the last 10). They won Tuesday's game with visiting Columbus mainly on the shoulders of a terrific performance from goaltender Roberto Luongo. But one of the by-products has been the struggles of winger Alex Burrows and it's effect on Daniel and Henrik Sedin. Yes, Danny and Hank are big boys and can take responsibility for their own fate, but Burrows' scoring downturn in recent games – he's now gone eight games without a goal hasn't helped the twins' stock in the scoring race.

Burrows had at least two great chances in the 2-1 shootout win over the Blue Jackets but couldn't convert. The Sedins, who've been getting even tighter coverage from the opposition than usual as the season winds down towards the playoffs, have been blanked the last two games. And there's no relief in sight, as next up are the stultifying Nashville Predators on Thursday.
