"Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck says it would be a mistake to count him out now.

Yes, he's scheduled for knee surgery to repair a torn ACL. And yes, he'll turn 33 in April.

"But people said I was 32 (heading into this season) and I did nothing but play my typical football for my spot,'' Bulluck said of those who questioned him heading into his 10th NFL season. "Coming off a knee injury, I know people will doubt me, but I have always said what I love about this league is each year you have to prove yourself. So I feel I have to prove myself every year, knee injury or no knee injury and this will push me to that limit that a lot of people couldn't understand.''

Bulluck leads the Titans in tackles with 118. He has three interceptions on the season.

Doctors told him his ACL will require "basic' surgery. He's expected to have the procedure in the next week or so, once the swelling goes down."
