Bulger at Rams Park for workouts

"Quarterback Marc Bulger's future in St. Louis may be tenuous at best, but he remains under contract with the Rams. As such, he was among the Rams players on hand Monday for the start of the team's offseason conditioning program.

The turnout Monday was good. Among the notable absentees was Pro Bowl running back Steven Jackson, but he was at Rams Park all of last week. Center Jason Brown and offensive lineman Adam Goldberg are attending the NFL Players Association convention in Hawaii, so they also were absent.

Safety Oshiomogho Atogwe is skipping all offseason activities under his current contract status — the low tender as a restricted free agent.

2 RAMS SIGN ELSEWHERE

Linebacker Paris Lenon has agreed to terms on a three-year deal with the Arizona Cardinals. Lenon took over as the Rams' starting weakside linebacker following the trade of Will Witherspoon last October to Philadelphia, but re-signing him as an unrestricted free agent was not a priority for St. Louis.

Signed Sept. 16 following the surprise release of Chris Draft, Lenon appeared in 15 games with 10 starts last season. Lenon did have three forced fumbles, which shared the team lead with Atgowe and Ron Bartell, but otherwise didn't have much impact. He finished 10th on the team with 44 tackles and had one pass breakup.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Ruvell Martin signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. Martin was not tendered as a restricted free agent by the Rams. Martin appeared in eight games for St. Louis in 2009, catching six passes for 99 yards. Also signed Sept. 16 by the Rams, Martin had a chance to work his way into the receiver rotation when injuries struck the position, but he was slowed by a hamstring injury of his own and never got into the mix."
