"The Milwaukee Bucks are hoping for more than a wing and a prayer when it comes to their offense this season.
And they are doing something about it by adding a veteran wing player to the roster. A league source indicated Thursday the Bucks will sign veteran free-agent guard Mike Dunleavy Jr. when the signing period opens Friday afternoon.
According to the source, Dunleavy will sign a two-year deal in the $7.5 million range.
Dunleavy is expected to arrive Friday morning and have his physical in time to participate in the opening day of the Bucks' training camp.
The 31-year-old Dunleavy averaged 11.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 61 games with the Indiana Pacers last season.
The 6-foot-9 Dunleavy played the last 4 1/2 seasons with the Pacers after beginning his NBA career with the Golden State Warriors."
