Bucks defeat Cavs in crazy game

"It was a wild, zany night at the Q, otherwise known as Quicken Loans Arena.

But Milwaukee Bucks center Drew Gooden, soaking his tired feet in ice after the game, was just happy about the "W."

The Bucks outlasted the Cleveland Cavaliers, 113-112, in overtime in a game that featured all kinds of strange happenings.

Bucks coach Scott Skiles was ejected in the third quarter, a calculated move he admitted after the game was designed to light a fire under his team.

Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison, who torched the Bucks defense all night, had a chance to put Cleveland in command when he went to the free throw line with 3.7 seconds left in regulation and the game tied at 102.

But Jamison missed both free throws, giving the Bucks a chance to win in regulation.

The Bucks set up a play with Shaun Livingston getting the ball on a handoff from Gooden, but Livingston decided not to shoot as he drove in the lane and time expired as he dropped the ball off for teammate Luc Richard Mbah a Moute.

"I'll be kicking myself in the tail for the rest of the season," Livingston said. "I'm thankful Jim (assistant coach Jim Boylan) went to me and I wish I could just get it back."

But after all that, Gooden was the star in overtime as he hit two quick baskets to help the Bucks stay in front, and he helped secure the victory by standing his ground and taking a charge from Cavaliers guard Daniel Gibson with 11.8 seconds left and the Bucks leading by two points."
