The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed long snapper Jeremy Cain, according to the NFL transaction wire. Cain is a long-time NFL veteran, having played for six different NFL teams since entering the league in 2004. He's played for the Chicago Bears, Philadelphia Eagles, Tennessee Titans, Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars and even the Amsterdam Admirals over the past ten years. His longest stint was with the Jaguars, as he played for them from 2009 through 2012.

Cain will presumably compete with Patrick Scales, who was signed to a futures/off season contract in January. Scales was an undrafted free agent out of Utah State two years ago.
