Ilya Bryzgalov furrowed his brow and pursed his lips.

The Flyers' goaltender had just been asked by a reporter to reflect upon setting the team's new record for consecutive shutout minutes, which he did in the Flyers' 3-2 victory over the New York Islanders Thursday night (see story).

But Bryzgalov was clearly focused on other things.

"What record?" he asked.

Until he allowed a goal to Isles winger Michael Grabner with 6:30 left to play in the third period, Bryzgalov added to the three-game shutout streak he carried into the Nassau Coliseum. When the goal light went ablaze behind him as Grabner scored, Bryzgalov's streak ended at 249:43.

It's his name that will enter the Flyers' history books, but if you ask the netminder himself, he'd say the accolades belong elsewhere.
