"Not long after he passed Shaquille O'Neal for fifth place on the NBA's all-time scoring list Monday in Philadelphia, Kobe Bryant said the points were nice but what he really wanted was a sixth title with the Lakers.

Bryant said it again during a sit-down interview with ESPN later that evening.

He said it again during a radio interview Tuesday morning.

He said he has no intention of leaving the only team for which he has played.

"Why would I want to go someplace else?" he asked. "That ship sailed in '07 or whenever it was. If I was ever going to go play someplace else, that time is dead. I'm not going to jump ship and chase a sixth ring. I'm not going to do that.

"It's either going to happen here (with the Lakers) or it's not going to happen." "
