At the rate the things are going, Johnny Manziel might be throwing passes to himself next season. New Browns wide receiver Nate Burleson fractured his left arm and will be out until training camp, according to ESPN.com.

The former Lions receiver broke the same arm that he hurt in Detroit last October when he got in a car accident after trying to save a pizza. Yes. That really happened.

The October injury caused Burleson to miss eight weeks of action and judging by Sarnoff's tweet, that's probably how long Burleson will be rehabbing this time around. The 11-year-veteran has only been in Cleveland since April, when he signed with the Browns after being cut by the Lions.

Burleson's injury in Cleveland, which happened during an accidental hit at OTA's, comes at a precarious time for the Browns. Not only is Burleson out now, but the team could be without leading receiver Josh Gordon in 2014. On Friday, it was reported that Gordon failed a drug test sometime during the offseason, a failed test that could lead to a year-long suspension from the NFL.

With the injury to Burleson and the impending suspension for Gordon, you'd think that the Browns would try and add a wide receiver in the NFL Draft, but they've done the opposite of that.
