"Browns running back Peyton Hillis sat out practice today with his pulled hamstring, and his status for the Houston game Sunday is uncertain.
Hillis, receiver receiver Mohamed Massaquoi and defensive back Ray Ventrone all walked inside with the trainers as reporters were coming out to watch the early open part of practice.
At his 11:45 a.m. press conference, Shurmur seemed hopeful that Hillis would be able to practice at least on a limited basis. He said, "he'll be out there. We just have to see how much he can do.''"
