Brian Hoyer overcame three interceptions and directed a sensational two-minute drive Sunday as the Browns defeated the Vikings 31-27 at Mall of America Field.

In his second career start Hoyer won his first NFL game in thrilling fashion throwing a 7-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Cameron with 51 seconds remaining.

It marked coach Rob Chudzinski's first career win as the Browns improved to 1-2 in their first game after this week's trade of running back Trent Richardson to Indianapolis.

Cameron caught three touchdown passes -- one from punter Spencer Lanning on a fake field goal. Receiver Josh Gordon seeing his first action after a two-game NFL-imposed suspension caught a career-high 10 passes for 146 yards including a 47-yard TD.

Hoyer completed 30 of 54 attempts for 321 yards and three TDs his three picks dropped his QB rating to 68.5. Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder who ran for two TDs was sacked by Desmond Bryant on final pass attempt to end the game.
