For months, NetsDaily posters have used the shorthand, HBAP - Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks and a draft pick-- as a baseline Nets offer for a big name player. Now, it looks like the Nets front office want to use that same configuration (with one change) to get the Hawks to trade Josh Smith. The change? The Nets offer, reports Adrian Wojnarowski and Ken Berger, is Hump, Brooks and a pick -- or hot shooting Croatian shooting guard Bojan Bogdanovic.

Woj reports in his updated trade talk...

The Nets are trying to make a deal for Smith, too, and have offered Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks, and either a future first-round pick or the draft rights to Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic, sources said.

Neither report how Danny Ferry, the Hawks GM reacted to the offer, although reports last week had Atlanta rejecting the offer. Woj also reports that the Celtics may still be interested in putting together a deal for the 6'9" Smith. Marc Stein earlier in the day reported the Bucks may try to work a deal centered on Monta Ellis.
