Peyton Manning won't have his second favorite target when Denver hosts San Diego this week. Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Chargers. Welker suffered a concussion in Denver's 51-28 win over Tennessee on Sunday, his second concussion since Nov. 17.

Welker racked up 61 receiving yards and a touchdown against Tennessee before leaving the game in the second quarter after taking a hit from Titans safety George Wilson. Welker also suffered a concussion in the Broncos Week 11 win over Kansas City. With a full week of rest, Welker was able to return in Week 12 against the Patriots.

However, with the Broncos playing on Thursday, Welker didn't have the luxury of a full week of rest this week, which virtually made it impossible for him to play.
