The Denver Broncos travel to New York Friday giving themselves an extra day to acclimate to a different time zone after a long flight.

“It’s just something that we’ve done as an organization” John Fox said of traveling early. “Money is not the object; it’s just the team’s performance which I appreciate.”

That’s one of the reasons why Pat Bowlen is one of two three-decade owners in pro football history to post a 60% career winning percentage. He knows that sacrifices money included have to be made.

The Broncos had a walk-through before heading to the airport which is common on Fridays when there’s a Sunday game.

Fox announced that neither cornerback Champ Bailey (foot) or tight end Joel Dreessen (knee) would play against the Giants. This doesn’t come as a surprise since neither has practiced since training camp.
