Fifteen games to go.

Eight points out of a playoff spot.

Are the Devils still in the race?

"We know we're pretty far out still, but we've come a long way. We're a little far yet to really feel we can make it," goalie Martin Brodeur said after tonight's 3-2 overtime victory over the Atlanta Thrashers.

Defenseman Colin White said of the win: "We got two points and that's what we came here for. We need every point we can get."

Patrik Elias, who set up both of Travis Zajac's power play goals, said the Devils need two points from every game and don't want to settle for one. However, he said they cannot start forcing it.
